I guess I'd take an XL as well! I already have a decent waterproof shell, and since the Alpinist doesn't fit perfectly, figured I'd be best off trading for something else. Takers?

anybody score one of those Marmot Superhero Jackets (Preferably a large) and want to trade for a Marmot Alpinist (XL, Northsea)? I got it in a dollar deal but it doesn't fit!

Just had the first snowfall of the winter in down town SLC, and I need a warm coat. Any chance we could see some women's winter coats soon? Maybe the North Face Gotham Down Jacket? It looks like there are plenty of them in stock.

maybe SAC will do something fun for their last dollar deal--like announce the time in the daily dose the night before, get the buzz really rolling bringing the site users up to a new all-time high, get a batch of some product (tshirts, headlamps, knife, etc) and put up like 50 or 100 of them for a buck...then follow it by a blitzing round of great deals 75-80% off at 5 minute intervals or something for the next hour to cash in on the monster numbers of folks on the site. just a thought. i'll take some free bc.com swag too if ya'll end up doing that :P

You are right on. I live in Montana and have all the "tricks" setup to and have not gotten any deals. It seems for me that the checkout processes is too slow. does anyone else have this issue? Once I choose to checkout, the processing order screen takes forever and then of course i already lost the item.
i live in oregon and have gotten a buncha them...just gotta be fast.

shift + F5 might refresh better. Honestly I've found hitting refresh at the last minute tends to add a few seconds back to the clock--SAC seems pretty spot on to switch when it actually switches, for me.

I've been looking for these deals for a solid three weeks, maybe four now. Have been using all the 'speedy' tips that others used and have had success with. Have a devoted 2nd screen just for SAC, so I can actively watch, and am prepared when the clock/quantity remaining is winding down. Let when the new product comes up, the clock is always at like 24:50, and 10 seconds have already ticked off. I have tried refreshing the screen when the clock is almost out/out, but still, when a new product is loaded like 10 seconds have passed. Have a fast internet connection too.
I think I have come to the realization that I won't ever get a dollar deal, not for lack of trying or effort though. My ISP or whatever computer lingo you want to use isn't fast enough to load the pages, and therefore compete with people that live closer to Utah/Colorado(?). SAC dollar deals, you are just a tease.

I've almost purchased the Super Hero several times in the past, it's my fav jacket. I had it in my cart (step 1!) and when I checked out it was gone. Sucks. Oh well.
I've got a few of the dollars deals, a women's XL Fleece, jeans that I don't think will fit me, but when this comes up, I miss it.

funny actually i was kinda sitting there as those smith glasses went down and getting ready to pull the trigger quick on a $1 if it came up...but switched over to the dollar menu that that guy tedpetrowski runs just to see when the last one was--and it shows that marmot jacket and says 8:24...i had a moment of.. THATS NOW... even one click later was waaaay too late for the marmot jacket. pretty keen softshell though!
