Flirty Reviews

Anyone else think the review for these shades is hilarious? Giving her eye color and describing her long lashes ... or maybe I'm wrong and reviews are a great method of on-line hookup.
Down Parka
by climbaholic (22)
Man, I've been looking for a down parka, and this one is so nice. But I can't do blaze orange. Ugh.
by Matthew Mio (1030)
yup. cool, glad.
In the future I'll make sure I stick to the specified anti-gear/brand daily posting quota established in the backcountry.com bylaws.
okay enough with the craptacular joakley gear..take it to tramdock
by Matthew Mio (1030)
this jacket was made in Afghanistan. either it was made 10 years ago or i am shocked to learn there is a garment factory somewhere in that country stable enough to line up a contract with joakley and actually deliver.

by sacerdote_832037 (1)
I keep missing the $1 deals somehow! What have some of the past $1 deals been out of curiosity?

by Matthew Mio (1030)
who is this guy?
by odiggity (187)
I'm calling BS on Mr. SAChater. I don't think the freerider package is even sold anywhere else. Look at me, I have a google.
please make it stop...
by rivke1806417 (14)
I am now the lucky recipient of 8 $1 deals. How many of those items did I need? 0 While I've spent less than $80 on all of this gear (clothing, actually... would love some gear deals though- $1 tents, maybe?), I could have bought one item I was sure would fit for that price. Impulse shopping keeps UPS in business.

What's up?
by gamehendge (22)
I have this harness that I bought from Mad Rock. This is a great deal. And the weight is definitely a typo. It's 420 grams not 42. I weighed on a scale. Really well made harness though.
half way there
by b_s3347657 (2)
Ok SC I got my buddy a harnes and a chalk bag, now i need that stuff that connects his harnes to mine... what is that.....oh yeah a rope ....
GIVE US ROPES!!!! please, prity please
by Matthew Mio (1030)
cheaper on yahoo? pls the link exactly--did a quick search and did not see it for cheaper.
good catch on 42 grams. Maybe it was made out of dental floss -- obvious typo--probably 420 grams and that would still be a good weight!
Mad Rock El Cap package
by climbaholic (22)
Is there any way that this harness, with adjustable leg buckles, gear loops, etc. actually weighs a scant 42 grams, or is this a typo? I have a Mammut Mana harness, another ultralight harness with fixed leg loops, and it is still a little over 300 grams. If I could find a 42 gram harness with all these features that actually holds up, I would buy a dozen.
