climbaholic: If you haven't already, you'll want to check out: http://dailyclimber.com. Its a one-deal-per-day site that caters to climbing interests, including but not limited to hardwear, protection, etc. Cheers.

I just figured "not black" was a reference to Borat. "This suit...is NOT BLACK." Maybe I'm way off on that one.
On another note, SAC, are we ever going to see some quickdraws? Or just locking carabiners? Not that I'm knocking the increase in climbing gear, I would just like to see something for those of us who do the whole trendy "sport" thing.

Negated by shipping cost, as mentioned, but... I'm throwing a couple in my cart just in case I end up buying the next item that comes up, or the one after that- roll of the dice but if they remain in the cart ( as items often do for a limited period if they don't sell thru ) combined shipping ( as in the unlikely event I've just described ) would make titanium sporks @ $3.95 a nice deal...

It would be cool if we could Bank SAC purchases for up to one month and then charge one shipping fee when we elect to have our stash shipped. Just my two cents. Call it the STASH SAC. What do you think Backcountry. It would be good for all. It will cut down on waste (aka Greener). Encourage shoppers to buy more (make the shipping charge worth while), and more purchases is better for Backcountry. EVERY ONE WINS

and had it overnighted; yeah a cool 30 bucks. Oh yes, well worth it.

indeed

er, yeah, what mors said.

hahahahahaha, this is great

by min (15)

or is the spork deal utterly negated by shipping costs?

by mors (7)

i actually was going to get these...but then SAC shipping hit me....$9 shipping for 2 sporks? lol fail.

by Sully (22)

Thus is the funniest items I have ever seen on SAC. A spork!

Perhaps you'd like to clear them out? :P

Not Black? What is it? More importantly, what ISN'T it? Well, it's certainly not green, gold, blue, guacamole(?) or red, or any of the other obviously not black colors. It's more of a montage of blacks, but not your father's black, not the "next" black, and certainly not "that's so last week's" black. It's a compromise between wanting black, but not in that way. It's a coming together of far-seeing vision and cutting-edge design, mixed with a bit of personality. Its okay with not being black, not that there's anything wrong with that. What it would like is for you to accept that it's not black, and move on from the color black, realizing that just because your jacket isn't black, doesn't make it any different or less special. It doesn't have to live up to those high expectations black always carries with it - it just wants you to be okay with it too.

by seadiver19 (212)

What does that look like? White?

by cscho (3634)

Colors: Black, NOT Black, Cedar, and Leaf.

SAC doesn't always put up every color, particularly if some of the colors are newer (as in "not discontinued").

Interestingly, the women's colors in this jacket are Merlot, Cream, and Guacamole. Which just reinforces patriarchal male stereotypes of women as edible and delicious.

I, for one, am outraged...

by Big_Jim (36)

The BC site says there are 3 more colorways for this jacket - what's the dealie-o SAC?

by cscho (3634)

No, I think hijo's resolution passed!
SAC is marking UP women's clothing!

Soon the trails and mountainsides will be festooned with nekkid wimmen sporting nothing but gear and a smile!!

Bwahh hahahahah!
