Prana Halle Pant - Women's

Up for any adventure.

From the climbing crag to the corner coffee shop, the Prana Women's Halle Pant is designed to tackle just about everything and anything you throw at it—including those emergency board meetings. The Halle features Prana's famed and pliable Stretch Zion fabric, which (as its name suggests) stretches for unimpeded mobility, dries quickly, and is wrinkle-resistant—makes it extremely travel friendly and versatile. Additionally, the Halle is equipped with a DWR treatment to fend off coffee spills and light precipitation alike. A relaxed fit readies the Halle for uninhibited movements, and articulated knees help you step over boulders, fallen trees, or sidewalk obstacles with ease. Not to mention, the Halle easily converts into a capri: simply roll-up the legs and secure them with the internal buttons and loops.

    Detailed sizing

    Fit me pretty weird

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 6R

I was so excited for these, but when I got them, they fit super weird on me. I don't think sizing was wrong, they were just constructed oddly for my body--there was some definite pooching/cameltoe going on in the crotch. I ordered a 6R and am normally a 6 or 8. I think Prana did not anticipate my thighs. Sadly, they have to go back :(

    For my Ma

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: Runs large

Got these for my mom, and she loves them, stretchy, comfy and durable. Super value as well.

    Love these pants! Water resistant.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

Bought a pair of these a while back on a whim, when I was just looking for another pair of hiking/casual pants. However, I recently found myself digging a vehicle out of snow on a 28 degree New Hampshire night and boy did these pants surprise me!

Despite, crawling (and falling) around in the snow for over an hour, these pants not only repelled the snow, but to my surprise - were still almost completely dry at the end of the shenanigans. The tight weave also seemed to do a great job of keeping the chill at bay.

Definitively seem solid, warm, durable and worth the $$.

    On the go

I love these for hiking and just all around use. They can be rolled up to a cropped length and are light enough that I don't feel like I overheat when hiking around during the summer months. True to size

      Great Material, But Too Big

      • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: 2 short

Was sad to have to return these! I really liked the feel of these trousers, very comfortable fabric, and in practical colors. I ordered a size down, in keeping with the info here, and glad I did. The "short" inseam was still too long for me, however. Also, the waist was too big around; using the drawstring just made a little dopey "pooch" right under the buttons without really holding the pants up. Too bad.

      Love them!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 4

These pants were everything the reviews say they will be. I bought these to be able to hike, climb and wear to work. They have been amazing in all 3 situations. I love the stretch and the feel of the material, it allowed me to look super cool at work and go climbing afterward. The capri feature is great and the colors are subtle. True to size for me. Will be buying more in the future

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: 2 (reg)

What can I say? It makes your butt look amazing and they are so durable and stylish. A definite buy again.

      • Size Bought: 2 short

I would suggest these pants to anyone who likes the outdoors!!! Very versatile pant.

-Nylon is really comfortable material to climb and hike in.
-DWR is amazing on these. I spilled a little bit of wine on the pants and it rolled right off. SCORE!
-You can wear these multiple times before washing and they will not smell.
-The Cargo Green is a great color.
-After a few wears the pants still look the same unlike other pants stretching out after a few hours.
      -The pockets are perfect.
-I purchased the 2 short and they are still too long by an inch!
-There is a tie on the inside of the waist along with the button. I feel that the tie should be on the outside. The button does not seem very durable but so far so good.

PRANA is awesome. They do not use plastic bags to ship their individual products in, instead they roll em up and tie it with rope. That is another reason why this product is great. The lined version hopefully will be my next purchase!

PS. Boyfriend has the Mens version (stretch Zion) and wears them almost everyday. Loves them.

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: 4 (wish I would have got a 2)

These pants are super comfy! I wear a lot of leggings because I hate how uncomfortable pants and jeans can be but these I can handle. The fabric is not restricting and the waist band is nice and comfortable. I love that they roll up into capris too! They do run large though so go down one size. I am usually a 4/6 and everyone told me they run big but I couldn't imagine fitting into a 2. Sure enough the 4's are pretty baggy.

      As Great As They Say

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: Size 4 / Regular

I bought these pants to wear climbing / out on casual evenings.

First, they are so comfortable! I can climb in them with ease, and they look great when I'm climbing, too. Really good quality and the color has stayed through a few washes.

If you need a pair of casual pants that have a great fit and will last for years to come - the Halle is the way to go.

      Pretty cool!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: 10

I definitely should have ordered a 6. I got a size 10 and can wear a heavy baselayer under and still have a lot of room. They're also really long. Other than the fit, I love these and plan on getting more, just in the right size!

      • Size Bought: 4

These pants are perfect to have one pair to wear from the workplace to the mountains. The flexible fabric allows free movement for all activities. If you want to wear a comfortable pair pf pants to work without looking like you're wearing sweats then these would be perfect. I usually wear 4 or 6 pants. Ordered a 4 regular in these. Will probably order a 4 short in my next pair.

      great adventure pants

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 4S

i love these pants! i've taken them sailing, hiking and backpacking and they've really stood up to every activity. I love that these aren't super tight like most of the other hiking pants i've tried (athletic thighs...). really great if you're looking for pants that you can MOVE in!

      Durable and Stylish

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: 2

I love how well these pants fit my legs. Having an athletic build always makes finding pants that fit a challenge (smaller waist, larger thighs), but these are great. I don't think the size chart is accurate, as I ordered two sizes smaller than what is recommended for my waist measurement, but luckily I had a pair of these pants already that I tried on and bought in a store so I knew which size to order. They have a very comfortable fit and the fabric is comfortable against the skin as well. In addition to fit, these pants are very durable. I have worn them several times while hiking, backpacking, and climbing and they are still in great condition.

      My wife loves them.

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
      • Size Bought: Medium

I got these for my wife. After she wore them a few times she had me order her another pair in a different color. these are her go to pant to hang out in or go hiking.

      Great for climbing

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 2- short

They fit me a little loose which is perfect, so I have room for a base layer. Went climbing in them and did not feel constricted at all. Super comfortable, slept in them too!
Even though I bought the short fit, I still have to roll them but I'm kind of used to that already.

      Favorite Pants of ALL Time!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 8 regular

I currently have 4 pairs of these pants because I love them so much, I do not travel or adventure without them. I bought my first pair almost 2 years ago and have used them well and they still look amazing and fit well. I will warn that the buttons on the wait band will come off and need to be sewn back on with better thread. I have really enjoyed them to rock climb in and they fold into crop pants to stay out of the way. They do stretch out while wearing but shrink back down when washed.

      I adore these pants!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 4/short

These pants are amazing! The stretchy fabric is great for running up sport crags in Big Cottonwood Canyon and I use them as a casual piece too. They are the clutch "middle" pair of pants; I have my cute skinny jeans on one end, lined Prana boyfriend pants at the other end, and these ones inhabit the sweet mid-spot.

I also layer my leggings under them sometimes for cold winter hikes and they still look stylish and protect me from the elements.

      I adore these pants!

Hi, Traci! I was so glad I came across your comment!
I'm 5'3" and 107/110lbs as well. I wear a 4 Short in all Kühl pants - do you happen to know if Kühl sizing is the same as Prana sizing? I have to order pretty much immediately if so, since it looks like there is only one pair of 4 Short available in the color I want haha.
      Thanks so much!!

Hi Amber, I am a size 4S in Kuhl as well. Sounds like we are about the same build, so yeah I would opt for the 4 with Kuhl, though I find their fit to be a bit too snug. prana gives you some room to move.

      Unanswered Question

How long is the inseam in a 12 long? And do these truly run big or are they just a baggy fit? My concern is if I size down would they be too tight in the waistband. I'm fit but I'm apple shaped so waistbands are my problem in women's clothing since they tend to be cut smaller in the waist. Any advice on if I should really Size down? For those that did size down, did it make the pant fitted?
