The Mission 2 features a frame made with 6061-T6 aluminum, a treated version of the metal with an ideal blend of low weight and high strength for long-term durability and plenty of responsiveness. The geometry, as in the entire Mission family, is relaxed and stable with a slack, 66.5-degree head tube angle and a long, low posture that sticks lines and tracks through corners. This year's version of Diamondback's Knuckle Box suspension platform remains efficient and responsive through the travel arc, with FOX's re-worked 36 Float fork lending 160mm of plushness to your ride and a FOX Float EVOL LV rear shock to complement it with 160mm of its own travel for hitting the kind of features that tend to hit back.

For consistent pedaling through a diverse mix of terrain, Diamondback includes SRAM's one-by GX 11-speed drivetrain on the Mission 2 for smooth, quiet shifting. You'll get a wide range of gear ratios without worrying about chain-slap or the added weight and complexity of a front derailleur. For easy, on-the-fly seatpost adjustments mid-ride, Diamondback includes a KS LEV Integra dropper post and remote. Rounding out the build kit, the Easton Arc rims paired with tubeless-ready Schwalbe Hans Dampf tires will grip when you need them to and roll when you don't.
