Good Fit, Great Price

I bought my pair of XL Chilliwacks on SAC, and couldn't be happier. I wear 38x34 normally, and they fit well in both directions, not too short on me. They seem to be well constructed and the material is strong yet comfortable. They are definitely fit for working or hiking through brush, though they are probably too heavy for normal backpacking

My first pair of chilliwack pants lasted me about 2 years until my wallet wore a hole through. I patched it, and kept wearing them until the entire seat began to wear through. Considering how much I abused them they held up pretty great. My second pair lasted me a few weeks until the crotch began to loose threads and the hole began to grow. Huge disappointment, quality of pants has declined, hellooooo mountain khakis

My friend bought me these pants from Steep and Cheap, and they are the only pants in my wardrobe that have survived the past two years. I am a textbook OVER-WEARER of these pants (day-in, day-out..they are comfy!), but they are only now beginning to show (small holes at most vulnerable seams). I would actually go the other way on the wallet issue... the pocket drops so low you don't need to rest your butt on-top of your wallet, which I prefer. These are the best pants I have ever owned, and I want more
Built tough except for the crotch

I didn't notice it when I got the pants but after a few days (literally 3 days), a small hole had developed in the crotch. I wasn't doing anything that would have caused this so it was quite surprising. A friend of mine who works at an outfitter told me that he had a pair do that to him as well. Still not sure what caused it, but other than that hole these pants are great.
Great Pant

I agree with the other... Great pant except for the wallet issue and the length... I can live with the wallet issue. I would buy more if we could get a longer length. Same with the shorts, let's get some length to really make this work....
Good work pant

Nice stylish work pant that is built to take a beating. But, a wallet in the rear pocket is uncomfortable for bar stool surfing and I find the length to be on the short side.
Durable and comfortable

These pants are really comfortable. Thick material and is perfect for doing some good ol' fashion manual labor in. I agree that they are a bit baggy. I usually wear a 33" waist so I got a medium and the pants would be falling off me if it wasn't for the belt.
My crotch was nice and secure.

I like these pants. I am not so sure about Caleb's problem, in the above review, but they have held up in the crotch region just fine. The pants are nice and thick and could be used to complete any sort of hardware need. The half in belt is rather sharp too. I like this feature that many Kavu pants have. My only gripe is that they are a little on the baggy side. Other than that, great pants for any activity.
