Unexpected...

I was really excited when I purchased these. Aviator style? Cool. Supposedly the best lenses in the biz? Cooler. Integral hinges that take a beating? Coolest. Got them... Frame material is stiffish plastic and the hinges consist of roughly a 5 mm tongue pinned into a groove. CR39 lenses are plastic ("polycarbonate"), not glass, which I knew. Biggest hang up is the style, if they blew these things up sizewise, I would keep them despite all the downsides. (An inch wider, a half inch taller) The reality is that these are for small to medium faces (lady faces perhaps?). As a bigger guy, I look like I'm wearing children's glasses, and the quality is right there with the look... They did come with a nice case though.
