Lots of room, good for an SUV
I like this setup for keeping a week's worth of bike gear organized in the back of my honda pilot. Size wize, it fills the entire width of the back of that car - so if you have a smaller SUV, I'd get the 3-cube version. Other Mountainsmith cubes also fit into this product (I have the ski cube and it fits in here nicely in place of two of the four other cubes). The only complaint is that each cube must have gear in them in order for this to stand up. Otherwise - the whole setup is just a pile of bag since the carrying bag is not stiff at all.

Great Camping accessory
Picked up 2 of these for car camping trips and boating trips. Real nice to keep everyone's stuff organized and reduce clutter.

Great for car trips
Purchased the Mountainsmith Modular Hauler System for a week-long family vacation. Met our needs perfectly--it is true that the cubes do not stand up on their own (and it would be great if they did), but they are a great way to pack a lot of things efficiently. We used the cubes that came with the system for non-perishable food items and then purchased the cooler cubes--which also fit into the hauler--for perishables.

Why is it cheaper here than on Steep and Cheap w/ shipping?
I love these things - there's no end to their usefulness and they are easy to scrub when they get a bit manky. My question would be why they're more expensive on Steep and Cheap's site when you factor in the $7 shipping? I get free 2-day shipping on this site which makes them $55 when S&C's price would be $58!??! C'mon guys - I want to see the 4-piece set for $39 on steepandcheap.com!!!

Definately recommended
All or a portion of these bags have been used on every weekend trip I've been on since we got them! Especially great for families with young children because you're always hauling MORE (life jackets, snow pants, boots, toys, food, etc. etc.) and it drives my husband nuts to have things loose in the car! Great quality-had mine for 3-4 years. LOVE IT!

Very versatile
Works great with any type of gear you want to seperate and throw into the bags. Recently used them for 4 people going skiing (2 adults 2 kids) and each one fit ski boots and ski clothing without any problem! Remaining bag used for misc bits and tossed the whole works into the trunk of car.
