While the idea of wearing a merino wool sports bra may induce feelings comparable to wearing that famously itchy, hand-knit sweater your grandmother crafted for you years ago—it's not. We wouldn't call the Icebreaker Women's Sprite Racerback Bra golden-retriever-puppy-soft, but it's the closest thing to fluffy comfort you can get in a sports bra. Intended for low to moderate impact sports, the Sprite Raceback Bra ensures a comfortable ride with its merino wool fabric which regulates your body temperature to keep you cool and comfy while the blended Lycra encourages a stretchy, supportive fit. Additionally, merino wool also has natural odor-fighting properties so you don't have to wash it after each training session. The racerback straps won't slip, and the soft band gives great support without constriction while you run, hike, climb, or dive effortlessly into downward facing dog.

Great qualify
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is exactly what I was looking for. I purchased this for backpacking, as my other cotton blends would feel cold and wet in the morning when I put them on. This one doesn't.

My to-go bra for workout
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a little bit on the tighter side due to the nature of the fabric. I love how comfortable & supportive they are. I wear them to go running & lifting.

First time buy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not believe how soft and comfortable this sport bra is. My first time buying this style from Icebreaker but will definitely buy more.

Tag is an instrument of torture
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
This is a super comfy bra - great for hiking or gardening. The fabric is sweat wicking just like you'd expect from wool. The tag though -- I swear there were at least 8 of them, right in the armpit, made of a super scratchy material. It took me a minute to remove them and I was worried about damaging the seam. That aspect of the design needs to be re-thought by someone who has actually worn a bra!

Didn't work for me!
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Looks lovely on the model and really wanted a merino bra for backpacking but was too large around the bottom but not enough fabric to cover my average sized breasts! Seems like a nice bra but perhaps some work needed on cup size. The search continues!

Basically NO coverage!
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I'm a 38C/D, so I'm not super busty all things considered, but the XL here didn't have enough fabric to contain the girls. If I let things sit naturally, I would almost pop out on the sides. If I pulled everything in, I came right out the top. Plus sizing is odd- I generally prefer the fit of XL sports bras in other brands as I don't want/need a ton of compression for hiking and backpacking, but the XL here is loose and offers no support. Sizing down to a L would help with the fit of the band and straps, but would likely worsen the issue with coverage. Quality wise the bra seems great- very soft and felt like it would be comfortable to wear, just not the right fit in any way for me.

Size M cup size too small for 32/34DD
- Familiarity:
- I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Gave as a gift, but have feedback: Build quality and fabric are nice, but the medium cup size is to small for 32DD/34DD chest size. The large size would probably fit the cup better, but then the chest strap wouldn?t provide any support and boobs would fall out. The size M chest strap fits around the 32/34 ribs great. For reference to other brands, the icebreaker bra has much smaller cups than Calvin Klein Modern Cotton Bralettes in the same size (medium in this case). If you have smaller cup sizes, this would probably fit really nicely, but if you have a larger cup you should look for a different product.
