Love this skirt and shorts!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Love them… but, I’m a size 14 and the XL is tight on my thighs. Also, I knew in advance they were shorter than usual (likely so they don’t hang down below the skirt), but as a 65 year old, I find them quite short! Also, wore the shorts and skirt on a cooler day than ideal and ended up adding leggings part way through the day. As I had 3 layers on now - shorts, leggings, skirt, I couldn’t tell at the waistline what was where and the skirt was a bit lower than ideal and got caught on my seat. Eek! Not a good experience. Lesson learned- don’t add leggings, and ONLY wear the skirt when it’s snapped to the shorts or the same may happen again. (Slow tumble over while at a stop!)
